At which locations are the sharing vehicles located?
Our vehicles are located in Hoya, Hassel, Nienburg (Weser), Syke, Stemwede (Levern), and Bad Wildungen.
Can sharing vehicles be returned at multiple locations, or must they always be returned to the pick-up station? (Free-floating or station-based system)
The vehicles must always be returned to their pick-up location (station-based system).
What are the return conditions for the vehicles?
- Combustion vehicles must have a minimum fuel level of 25%.
- Electric vehicles must be connected to a charging station at the end of the booking.
- The key and all tank, charging, and parking cards must be placed in the card holder in the glove compartment.
Which vehicles are available at which locations?
- Hoya: 9-seater (Ford Transit), 2 transporters (Opel Movano + Renault Master), 7-seater (Renault Grand Scenic), 2 luxury vehicles (Renault Talisman), small car (Renault Clio), electric small car (Renault Zoe).
- Nienburg: 2 small cars (Renault Clio), electric small car (Renault Zoe).
- Hassel: Electric family van (Kia Soul E).
- Syke: Electric small car (Renault Zoe), family van (Renault Kangoo).
- Stemwede: 9-seater (Renault Master), electric small car (Renault Zoe).
- Bad Wildungen: Transporter (Renault Master).
Must the driver’s license be validated? If so, how can it be validated?
The driver’s license must be validated before the first booking and then every six months. This can be done via the CLASSIC CarSharing app under the "License Validation" section in the settings or at one of our validation stations, which can also be found in the app.
In which countries are the sharing vehicles insured?
Germany – additional countries upon request.
Is a second driver insured? If so, what conditions must they meet?

Charging information

How is the charging cable connected?
Open the charging flap using the switch on the left side below the dashboard. Once opened, connect the cable to the vehicle and then to the charging station. Ensure the central locking is unlocked, and the vehicle key is with you. -
How is the charging process started?
After connecting the cable, take the charging card from the holder in the glove compartment and hold it against the charging station’s reader until the display shows “Card authorized, charging started.” Ensure the central locking is unlocked and the vehicle key is with you. -
How is the charging process ended?
Hold the charging card against the station’s reader until the display shows “Card authorized, charging ended.” Disconnect the cable from the station, then from the vehicle, and close the charging flap. Store the cable in the trunk. -
Which charging stations accept the cards?
EnBW charging cards in the vehicles can be used at 700,000 charging points across Europe. A detailed overview can be found here: https://www.enbw.com/elektromobilitaet/ladepowerfueralle.
Which cards are in the vehicles? (Type, provider, PIN if applicable)
- Electric vehicles: EnBW charging cards, no PIN required.
- Combustion vehicles: Roadrunner fuel cards valid at over 2,200 stations in Germany. The PIN is displayed in the app during an active booking.
How are the respective cards used?
- Electric vehicles: Start the charging process as described above.
- Combustion vehicles: Fuel the vehicle as usual. Pay with the Roadrunner fuel card at the cashier or pump terminal. The PIN is shown in the app when the card is removed from the glove compartment or by selecting “Fuel level” in the app.
Accident and damage reporting

What to do in the event of an accident or breakdown:
- Ensure your safety: Turn on hazard lights, wear a safety vest, and place a warning triangle. Provide first aid if needed and call emergency services (Europe-wide number: 112).
- Always call the police, even for minor damages, regardless of fault. Never admit liability and take measures to limit damage.

- Complete the accident report (found in the vehicle handbook in the glove compartment) and note witness details. Send the police report and the completed accident report to the CLASSIC customer center (Lange Str. 100 – 106, 27318 Hoya, Germany, or kontakt@classiccarsharing.de).
