Which locations have the sharing vehicles?
Dortmund, Oberhausen, Meerbusch, Willich, Gornau, Dittmansdorf, Witzschdorf
Can the sharing vehicles be returned at multiple locations or must they always be returned to the pickup station? (Free Floating or Station-based)
No. Station-based.
What are the return conditions for the vehicles?
For example: The car must be at the designated charging point, charging must be started, key chip, charging (& parking) card must be in the holder in the glove compartment.
- Yes, except in Oberhausen, vehicles have an intelligent charging cable. In Dortmund, at the Wasserturm, the charging station does not need to be activated, but the double-wall box must be. At Union Gewerbehof, the wall box must be activated with the key.
Which vehicles are available at which locations?
Only electric vehicles: VW ID.3, BMW i3, HYUNDAI Kona, Opel Mokka-e.
Does the driving license need to be validated? If yes, how can it be validated?
Through the app.
In which countries are the sharing vehicles insured?
Europe, excluding Eastern European countries.
Is a second driver insured? If yes, what conditions must be met?
Only if registered or if the user is present in the car.
Additional Information
It is important to never leave the charging cable at the station, as costs of up to €600 may be incurred.

How to connect the charging cable?
Check first if the charging station needs to be activated. Then, use the chip or charging card to unlock the station and plug in the charging cable.

How to end the charging process?
Click on the vehicle's central locking system to open, then disconnect the charging cable first from the vehicle. For the Opel Ampera-e, hold down the unlocking button on the key fob to release the charging cable.

There is only one direction—to the vehicle or to the charging station/wall box.
At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?
At all stations, except the Wasserturm Dortmund charging station (only at the wall box). Please review the station details before using.
What cards are in the vehicle? (Type of card, card provider, PIN if applicable)
Plugsurfing, also possible with EnWB.
How is each card used?
Hold the charging card in front of the area marked as an RFID card reader and observe the LED indicator.
Important Note: At the wall boxes in Meerbusch and Willich, ONLY use the charging chip on the key and do not use the Plugsurfing charging card as this may result in high blocking fees. Blocking fees will be charged retroactively if the electric vehicle is not removed from the station immediately after charging.
