It’s verified during the registration process and then once a year.
Validation is done online via Jumio.

All JETZT mobil vehicles are insured for use within Germany.
If a user plans to drive abroad, they must contact the provider in advance to discuss the conditions.

Only then are they authorized and insured.
Additional information not covered in the previous questions
JETZT mobil vehicles use:
-
The customer app
-
An onboard computer (iBOXX)
-
A control terminal in the glove compartment
At the start of the booking, the terminal asks the user:
-
To confirm a valid driver’s license
-
If the vehicle is clean
-
If there is any new damage to report
At the end of the booking, when the data fob (like a shopping cart chip) is returned, the terminal asks:
-
“End booking?”
Currently, JETZT mobil is rolling out new onboard computers (Cloudboxx).
Vehicles with Cloudboxx no longer have a control terminal.
During the transition period, both types of vehicles will be in use.
