Does the driver's license need to be validated? If so, how can it be validated?
Yes, the driver's license must be digitally validated before starting the journey.
If the digital validation does not work because the license has no expiry date or it is a paper license, please send a photo of the license via email to rent-a-car@euromobil.de. Euromobil employees will process the booking for you after the verification.
In which countries are the sharing vehicles insured?
Use of the vehicle is permitted in the European countries listed on the International Insurance Card that are not crossed out.
Is a second driver insured? If so, what conditions must they meet?
The vehicle may be used without restriction by other persons as long as they hold a valid driver's license and are fit to drive.
Special notes regarding the pilot project:
This is a time-limited pilot project to test a fully digital workshop replacement vehicle process.
Information on the charging process
How is the charging cable connected?
Open the trunk (either manually by a foot kick under the bumper (driver's side left) or mechanically by double-clicking the button with the vehicle and trunk symbol on the vehicle key or by clicking the button on the inside of the driver's door).
The charging cable is located in the trunk, either under the false floor or directly in the trunk.
How is the charging process started?
Parking: Park the vehicle near the charging station. The charging port of the ID.7 is located at the rear right (passenger side).
Unlock vehicle: The vehicle must be unlocked to open the charging flap.
Open charging flap: Press briefly on the rear area of the charging flap to open it. If necessary, remove the small protective caps from the ports (especially important for CCS fast charging).
Connect cable
At the charging station: If the station does not have a permanently installed cable, connect your own Mode-3 cable to the charging station first.
On the ID.7: Plug the charging connector firmly into the vehicle's charging port.
Authorize and start charging
Depending on the charging station, there are three common ways:
Plug & Charge: If your charging tariff and the station support this, the charging process starts automatically after plugging in. Communication and billing take place in the background.
Charging card: Hold your charging card against the reader on the charging station.
LED display: A small LED directly next to the charging port shows the status. A flashing green light usually means the vehicle is charging.
How is the charging process ended?
Unlock vehicle: This is the most common method. Press the unlock button on your remote key. At most public stations and wallboxes, this stops the charging process and releases the plug on the vehicle.
Infotainment system: You can end the process manually via the charging menu on the large touch display in the interior.
At the charging station: Some stations require you to present the charging card (RFID) again or end it via the station display to release the cable.
How is the charging cable disconnected?
On the vehicle: Pull the plug out of the charging port as soon as the LED next to it turns white or goes out (signal for "unlocked").
At the charging station: If you are using your own cable, pull it out of the charging station as well.
Protective caps: Don't forget to put the small rubber caps (if present) back on the ports and close the large charging flap firmly.
Which cards are in the vehicle? (Type of card, provider, PIN if applicable)
No charging or fuel cards. Please return the vehicle fully refueled/charged.
At which charging stations can the charging cards be used?
The customer does not receive a charging card.
